A snowy day has a positive side.

This morning we had nearly four inches of snow here at Yankee Lake. The winds are gusting over 30 mph and you can hardly go outside. All of this on April 3, following some really nice spring weather. The plus side of the day included catching up on some things at home. One of these was finally logging on to Lance Verderame’s Blog “Sullivan County Birder”. Lance has done a nice job of setting up his site and I like the format and “script like” font he has chosen. It looks really nice. Another nice aspect of his blog are the links to other sites around the area. It is a good resource. Also nice is the fact that Lance covers Delaware County as well as Sullivan. He splits his time birding between the two counties and offers some good information on where to find birds there and what he has recently been seeing. I highly recommend his site which can be accessed here: http://sullivancountybirder.wordpress.com Enjoy!
