Karen Miller, Arlene Borko and I had good morning of birding today. We started at the Bashakill. Highlights here included many Green-winged Teal, Tree Swallows, Gadwall, Wood Ducks and a flyover AMERICAN PIPIT to name a few. Once we were done there we headed to the Grasslands in Beechwoods to get the ladies some new year birds. Highlights here were 3 American Kestrels, Killdeer and EASTERN MEADOWLARKS. We couldn’t relocate yesterdays large flock of American Pipit here. We had a great morning overall.
