Bashakill

I birded the Bashakill the last two days, today with Karen Miller. Lots of waterfowl have come in, as well as large numbers of Blackbirds. A Northern Harrier has been at the Deli Fields and we had our FOS Killdeer and Turkey Vultures today and my FOS American Woodcock last evening. Here is a list of the waterfowl seen over the past two days with the high count I have seen.

Mute Swan – 1
Wood Duck – 46
American Wigeon – 4

Mallard
Northern Pintail – 9
Green-winged Teal – 6
Ring-necked Duck – 103
Bufflehead – 1
Common Goldeneye – 1
Hooded Merganser – 6
Common Merganser – 26
