Wolf Brook 5/21/12

This morning I attempted to bird the Wolf Brook Multiple Use Area. I got in most of the roadway, but got rained out right after starting the trails. I only had 17 species along the road, but it was a nice mix of warblers. I had eight species of warbler including:
Yellow Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Black and White Warbler
American Redstart
Ovenbird
Common Yellowthroat
Hooded Warbler
If I had been able to do the trail, I would have added several more species of warbler. Five Scarlet Tanagers was nice.
