Buntings and Shrike

Juvenile Northern Shrike - Clements Road 11/24/11

Arlene Borko and I birded the county early today. Many of the rarer birds seen yesterday had moved on. All the usual waterfowl continued. The best finds of the day were several dozen SNOW BUNTINGS at the Neversink Reservoir and a juvenile NORTHERN SHRIKE on Clements Road in Liberty.
